Monique John - Reporter at ABC11 WTVD
Monique John is a reporter for ABC11 based in Fayetteville.

Before joining the WTVD team, she reported for WCPO, ABC's Cincinnati affiliate as a corps member of the Report for America program for two years.

In her role, Monique covered developments surrounding gentrification in the Cincinnati area. Before WCPO, she was a freelance reporter/MMJ for News 12 Westchester in Yonkers, New York.

The New York native also worked as a foreign correspondent in Liberia, West Africa, and spent time as a writer and video editor throughout her career.

Monique is a 2019 recipient of a Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting grant to produce coverage on the aftermath of a sexual abuse scandal in Liberia.

She received her Bachelor's degree from Fordham University.
