Stabbing reported at Amazon facility in Durham, employees allowed back inside, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department is investigating an alleged assault at the Amazon distribution center on National Way.

Officers got the call Monday morning around 7:00 a.m. for a stabbing. As part of their investigation, police said they evacuated the building.

According to Durham police, injuries to the person who was stabbed appears to be non-life-threatening.

Employees have been allowed back inside after the brief evacuation.

Durham police say they are still investigating the assault.
